The project sought to improve the capacity of the national, regional, and local government to implement the policy to combat child malnutrition, with the participation of the private sector and civil society.
Partnership for Child Nutrition is a proposal of ADRA, CARE, Caritas, and Prisma, the four non-governmental organizations that have more than 20 years of experience in Peru in the design and implementation of projects to promote good nutrition and food security. This project was financed by USAID Peru.
OBJECTIVE: To keep child nutrition on the public agenda as a priority issue, designing and validating public-private partnership models to reduce malnutrition in young children, calling for the participation of the public sector on three levels – national, regional, and local – as well as that of private enterprise through their policy of social responsibility and the participation of civil society.
