Updating results-based Budget for maternal and neonatal healthcare program
The project focused on providing support to the National Strategy for Sexual and Reproductive Health Care and on updating the cost structure of the Maternal and Neonatal Health Care Program, including the costs of the logistics processes; and bringing the cost structure into line with the technical requirements laid down by the Ministry of Economy and Finance for handling the allocation of state funding in the strategy of Allocation of Results-Based Budgets in their administrative systems of public management.
One of the project goals was to help the executive health units and healthcare facilities to improve their budget formulation for the Maternal and Neonatal Health Care Program.
Objective: To improve the funding needed for the services of the Ministry of Health Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Strategy through the Maternal and Neonatal Healthcare Program, which includes family planning services.
