With an integrated proposal based on strategies such as: strengthening capacities of the teachers, parents associations, and classroom committees; technical assistance; and political advocacy, the project sought to improve the learning skills of children in three schools in the province of Talara, department of Piura.
The project began its activities bearing in mind the diagnosis that pointed to the difficulties children experience in improving their learning skills; and data obtained from the Census Student Assessment were included.
