The project, aiming to improve water quality management in schools in the district of Pariñas, province of Talara, Piura, was implemented in 23 early childhood and elementary schools of the district.
It was co-funded by the Provincial Municipality of Talara, Prisma and the Rotary Club of Toowoomba Garden City, Brisbane, Australia, with partners such as UGEL Talara, and Helping Hands for Peru.
OBJECTIVE: To provide access to better quality for children in early childhood and elementary schools.
Project area: District of Pariñas – Province of Talara, Piura.
8200 beneficiary children in the 24 schools participating in the project, distributed in 297 classrooms and 320 teachers. 859 families indirectly benefited.
