Capacity building in the regional institution for the implementation and monitoring of sexual and reproductive health, including family planning and the guaranteed availability of supplies for reproductive health care
The activities of this project were executed by Prisma, in association with the Center for Health Research and Studies of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua. The activities were designed to address needs expressed by the different countries in the region through the UNFPA offices in each country. The aim was to create a sustainable operational technical base for guaranteeing supplies for reproductive health in the Ministries of Health, social security institutions, and non-governmental organizations; and to design and maintain policies and standards for a management that would focus on improving the coverage and quality of customer service.
Objective: To build capacities in regional public and private institutions that will result in the improvement of the Guaranteed Availability of Health Supplies in the countries of the Latin American Region.
