He is a nurse and laboratory technician with a master’s degree in public health and has experience in managing field and laboratory research in Peru. He has developed a committed interest in optimizing data management for complex population studies. The projects he has conducted relate to data management in large longitudinal studies of malaria, enteric diseases, nutrition and clinical trials conducted under IND.
He is interested in intestinal helminth infections and how helminth infection alters immunity to other tropical infectious diseases such as the natural history of HPV infection.
