PRISMA NGO
Prisma is a development NGO that conducts, manages, evaluates and promotes research to contribute to sustainable development with equal opportunities for all. Evidence generated by research help solving problems and understanding the needs of communities in different settings through biomedical and social projects. Our interventions generate a positive impact on the lives of families and, at the same time, have generated evidence to change policy.
The purpose of this website is to share the results and lessons learned from our research and studies, which aim to help improve the lives of families.
Biomedical Research
We present solutions to medical problems creating evidence, new procedures and innovative products that improve population’s health and thus quality of life.
Social Research
We study, analyze and evaluate behaviors and the processes and results of social interventions and programs to design strategies that generate a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of families.
HISTORY

Former Executive Director (2001 – 2019) and member of the Board of Directors of Prisma NGO.
Since the beginning of Prisma, research has been an inexhaustible source of findings that have allowed us to design and implement projects to improve the nutrition of children throughout the country, validating models that have contributed to the creation of public policies that meet the needs of the population and are successful.
